Arne Slot confirmed Alexander Isak was replaced at half time of Liverpool's 5-1 win at Eintracht Frankfurt due to a groin injury.

Unfortunatly, isak has had a bit of history with groin injuries. Hopefully it's not too serious. But that should mean Ekitike starts on Saturday.

Still not sure why we put everything into isak

If only we made that much effort with a top CB... or a midfielder.. /shrug could've probably got both with isak money

I agree, we had Ekitike at that point. We could have left isak and got a cb and dm for that money we spent on isak. Or got a cb and a back up striker to Ekitike. Maybe they didn't think Ekitike would hit the ground the way he has?
