Jesus we are getting desperate now, why is Mamardashvili shit?
No way we'd have kept all 3 and allison wasn't going to leave obviously, he should be back soon after the break I believe ? he's becoming the most injury prone goalkeeper in the league though, let's hope he stays fit, he's not getting any younger
He's a good goalkeeper deserved more than being on the bench, happy for the lad.

He didn't want to be number 2.
If we could have got silly money for him, i'd have been ' half-tempted' to sell Ali and install Kelleher as number 1.
The problem is there was too much 'overlap' between them. Ali is still at the top of his game and with hopefully a good few years left at the top and as has been mentioned Kelleher is just reaching his peak years.
Might have been an easier decision if Ali was 37/38 or if Kelleher was 21/22 and still happy to wait around for another 3 or 4 seasons.
I'm still surprised Marmadashivili sign tbh. He's still likely to be back up for another 2 or 3 years at least.
Something, Something, Something, Dark Side
Yep not an easy one. Personally I really wanted to keep Kelleher - his contributions were epic. Superb deputy for Big Alli - so much so we weren't really that concerened when Becker was injured.. the penalties he saved and the one he scored - winning us the Cup - alone enough to highlight his importance to the squad.
Just too good to be a second choice. Sadly probably only one keeper out there that would challenge Alli for a start.. Any other club and Kelleher is the main man.
Really liked the lad... hope he continues to show what a top drawer keeper he is - outside of playing us..
