    Liverpool V Sunderland starting 11

Same 11 as today no need to change.

won't be that easy considering how good Sunderland have been this season . But i still expect a win though.

Alisson, Gomez, Van Dijk, Konate, Kerkez, Wirtz, Szoboszlai, Isak, Mac Allister, Gakpo, Gravenberch. Subs: Mamardashvili, Endo, Salah, Chiesa, Jones, Ekitike, Robertson, Nyoni, Ngumoha
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century

We will likely need to rest some legs somehow hopefully by getting in a great position to be able to make changes

    Alisson

    Gomez Konate Van Dijk Robertson

    Szoboslai Gravenberch Mac Allister

    Wirtz

    Isak_________Gakpo

Gone with Robbo as I think we need to be tighter in the press and Kerkez was very loose in it and his delivery was poor when we had good options

I was tempted by Jones but he gives us much needed legs as a sub and with no other mid to do that I would like to see Nyoni on the bench

We’ll have to be a lot better in the press and counter press and in our intensity tempo and directness there’ll be no room for walking pace overpassing and we’ll have to be more compact and control midfield and outrun and outfight them, we’ll have to be prepared to play 1v1 and determined to win all our battles

We’ll need to keep a firm grip of centre midfield I’d like to see all 3 sitting a bit more and feel our way into the game

They’re flying right now, we’ll need to puncture their balloon 🎈

No way am I starting MacAllister again on Wednesday, thought he was poor again, so slow in possession.

    Alisson
    Gomez Konate VVD Kerkez
    Szoboszlai Gravenberch Jones
    Isak Wirtz Ekitike

Possible Slot will play Macca instead of Jones and Salah ahead of Ekitike with Isak on the other side. But the above is how I would set them up.

Yes he scored at the end, but can't we play Chiesa instead of gakpo

Honestly what's the point in him??? either start him, sell him and get a LW who'll play in, be great to get one that can play across the line as we might need him at RW at some point

Frimpong another option if he's ever fit at RW

Gotta give credit to slot, finally changed it, looked a lot more solid.... dropping Salah playing gomez RB and Szob to cover?? wonder why we didn't concede for fun...

Slot changed it for Villa Real and City then when we undeservedly lost 3-0 to City having a legit goal chalked off at 1-0 when on top, he used that as an excuse to change it back

A lot of elements of our play that made us best in the league at so many things were now bottom of the league in, because he doesn’t have them pressing and counter pressing and winning their battles and being direct and have the cut and thrust that gives us our intensity

His shit idea of trying to play like a poor mans City in 19-20 with no press and getting g too many ahead of the ball looking to be in space for needless short passes has fucked everything up and is destroying our identity

If he again tries to revert to his shit idea he needs sacking immediately

Same as this, but Hugo for Gakpo

Let Mo get his Jo back first then address when to fit him and Wirtz in the same side.
