    Not good enough.

Needing an own goal at home to salvage a desperate draw is not the mark of champions let alone defending champions.

We face Leeds next - who just stomped all over Chelsea - and anything less than a win in that for me should be it for Slot.

We still have a chance at getting a Champions League spot despite everything and missing out next year would be a disaster.

As it stands Slot is endangering our chances of getting in, and I'd prefer to know by the end of the Christmas break whether he's in the long-term plans going forward and whether he can actually get us on a winning run.

On a different note, Chiesa busting a gut to get back to defense to help Allison and prevent us going 2-1 down and possibly losing the game exemplifies for me what True Red actually is and should be a reminder to the "I have the managers permission not to track back to defend" Mo Salah types.

Sometimes he's the only player out there who actually looks like he give a shite.

The last 10 minutes either shows the players up for a lack of effort for the previous 80 or it shows the manager up for his style of play...

Feels like a defeat, utterly dejected.
A fucking awful home performance, Sunderland will be gutted they haven't won that.
We don't look like we can get out of this, there's a rot in that side that's gone too far I think.
It’s Slot every time we look like turning a corner through playing more like we did last season and the 9 before it be getting a win he uses it as an excuse to revert to his no pressing no counter pressing no picking up, no tempo no pace no intensity sideways backwards over passing shit fest trying to make Wirtz the star of the show

It is NOT EVER going to FUCKING work sack the cunt

You look at the fixture list after the International break and you think Forest, PSV, Wham, Sunderland and Leeds looks like a good run of games to get us back up and running.

We're going to end up with 4pts on the back of those games.

Awful performance, Sunderland deserved to win. I haven't a clue what Slot is doing but he better sort it out very soon.

Did isak touch the ball in that 2nd half?
When you sign a striker like that, you need to get the ball into him, early. We aren't giving him any service.
Our crossing was so poor tonight. He barely got a run in behind at any point.

Utter Gash Performance. No power No pace No ideas. Pass forward, Pass sideward again, again, again pass backwards get tackled, lose the ball, opposition on the attack, goal conceded. Somethings got to change or top four not happening.

And I'm sick of seeing it. With the exception of Wirtz and Jones when he came on there was no one willing to give and go on the edge of the 18 yard box.

Crossing the ball against a packed back line has never, ever worked.

We're so slow and easy to play against, we've had issues with low block teams at times..... but we still had some pace and good play to get through them...... now that's gone, it's a terrible watch, i'd love to see utd of last season v us it would be the best game in the world.

Sick and tired of gakpo doing the same thing, what does chiesa have to do???? no doubt chiesa stays on the bench and salah starts next game...... LOL

Chiesa has probably just gave slot a lifeline, yet he still won't get more than 5 mins

I works if you work out in advance where you’re going to cross it to and from where you’re going to cross it so have 3 players to aim for and 3-5 including that 3 ready to pound cr in any second ball

You have to get the ball up and down quickly it’s the driven backspin ball we need because it goes up and comes down at a angle so you can drop it over a goalkeeper to the back stick and over the defenders head onto your players
