Who goes on there? You said it yourself and I have said it. They messed up not getting a cb. Right now we have virgil, Konate and gomez. Gomez is as bad at CB.
So he can go with gomez, don't see much changing unfortunatly. We needed 2 CBs got none. By next summer we will need 3 unless we get one in January

So Shite though Konate is - and he has never been great imo - but now while his form is in the toilet - he is being pushed out onto the pitch - where he simply cannot perform. We are agreeing so. 100% on Guehi, haggled over 5mil when even at that price it was a great price. Now we are reaping from that "shrewdness".

10 goals conceded from set pieces. I reckon that set piece coach is pretty shit like. Not one player on the back post for that third goal, saying that though should they even have to be told to do that.

For context, we conceded 9 in the entirety of last season's League campaign from set pieces.

Combination of the changing style in the League / sides finding our weakness / our own self-inflicted woes by not doing X, Y, Z properly in training is really stacking up.

Sure, but we've now conceded 3 or more goals 7 times this season. 8 if you include the Charity Shield. Excuses are no good any more. Why are we conceding so much? Are the defence just genuinely awful, or is the formation not providing the protection. Or both? Either way, Slot's not sorting it out.
