5 matches without defeat and 2 clean sheets on the spin.

    Green shoots.

Very much so. Only saw the second half. Very positive. Mo looking interested again. Ekitike great player. Despite all our troubles he's been a bright spot. Wirtz showing signs if still not catching fire yet.

Wish slot would play chiesa more. Maybe now with salah away.

Jones has been great the past few games. Great to see.

If we could get frimpong fit i really think we could start to turn the corner.

Has to give Chiesa a go alongside Hugo… Is he scared to see it works…?

Movement alone of both will create havoc for oppo…. Do it Arne - just do it.

If Bradley can stay fit then having him back will be a big help to the defence.

Frimpong should be back soon too. Get him playing wide right for a run of games and see how it goes. Plenty to be positive about.

Up to 6th currently. The glory hunters can start to smell the top 4 and those beautiful Champions League spots.

Shouldn’t need to be weathering any storm should have stuck to and recruited for the 433 that won the league

Diaz should have been kept hold of a No6 and a long term successor to Salah at RFWD I’d have kept Nunez too for a season at least as he created panic which is a rare thing

Nunez wouldn't get in this side. Ekitike has more league goals already than Nunez had all of last season. Wise up.

Luis had wanted out for a while to be fair and at some stage you have to think about succession planning.

Diaz was one of our older attacking players, so one or two were always going to go at some point.

The issue isn't moving Diaz on - it's the acquisition of a suitable like-for-like replacement, or finding a system/players that cover what we lost without him, as we continue to shape our future.

There's certainly merit to discussing what we are missing without him, but hopefully we will go on to have success without him, as we typically always eventually manage to do when excellent players depart.

It’s not correct to say he wanted out. without any context.

That is pure Liverpool FC PR. He wanted out only once it was clear he wasn’t a priority. His salary was low relatively speaking and they would not give him anything close to the salary or the contract length he was expecting.

Diaz was a good player but certainly no world beater. He had his best season for us last season by a long way but it was a one off. Seems to be doing well in the Bundesliga so far but it's a much less competitive league.
