For a kick off it not irrelevant. Maybe to a shill it is, but not to most.
When the state uses its biggest mouthpiece (the BBC) to highlight a corruption - as usual - over there (them evil foreigners FIFA) .. but that same mouthpiece stays silent on one far closer to home and order of magnitude larger it is in no way irrelevant.
Especially when the state is the one who is almost certain to be taking bribes from another state (Ahem UAE) to allow it to operate with impunity inside our football league.
