I was perfectly happy with him last season because he used the players to the best of their ability and was the continuity candidate I thought he would be

Thrn he threw the baby out with the bath water and misspent 430m AND let Diaz go

Diaz got himself out. Posting photos on his social media, dancing and having a laugh whilst others were at Jotas funeral. He later removed them after a backlash but has never spoken about why he posted them. A shortwhile later he was at Bayern.

I mean Salah was dropped after some shitty comments about Slot and the club... a relative nothing compared to Diaz.

Some serious stink going on in here from a lad that’s never seen a ball kicked in anger at L4.

Happy to spout unverified and obviously timed - blatantly leaked PR club bullshit from the likes of Club PR specialist at the Echo Paul Gorst… Shill

Henry could barely do a better job himself.

Diaz wanted out ONLY after it was made abundantly clear throughout 2024 and into 2025 - that he was to be left on same relatively low ball contract or sold.

Many at the club today will tell you face to face - They don’t know WHY the club wanted to “cash in” on Luis Diaz.

This baloney was spun by the club for the minions to lap up and the shills to push.

As for Wolves - we must surely still have enough to beat Wolves…. Even without Domenic Szobozlai…

    Right?

Get the win - hope for a miracle and that Slot actually can work out HTF to play this game in this league. Even I cannot believe how much that side last season was running on Klopp’s fumes.

Dom needs the rest. Hope he enjoys his Xmas dinner or goulash with a drink or 2
Back on NYD V Leeds. What we can't afford is any injury to Hugo so Slot might have to do the unthinkable and start Chiesa. Hopefully Bradley just had an impact injury, dead leg or whatever and will be available too.

Luis Díaz, Liverpool Colombian winger, finds himself at the center of a major controversy after failing to attend the funeral of his teammate, Diogo Jota, who tragically passed away in a car accident in Spain. The absence of the Colombian international has sparked widespread criticism, especially after images surfaced of him attending a social event instead of standing by the player’s family and the club during such a difficult time.

The situation escalated further when Díaz appeared in a local media interview that aired during the time of Jota’s wake

So far, Díaz has not publicly explained why he chose not to attend the funeral. His tribute, although heartfelt, has been seen by many Liverpool fans as insufficient, with some even calling for his departure from the club.

This episode marks one of the most difficult periods in Luis Díaz career. His actions have sparked disapproval, and his image among the fanbase has taken a significant hit. While only time will tell if he can rebuild trust, many supporters believe there are actions that cannot be easily forgotten.
The club was happy to see Diaz stay at the club, and Diaz used Jotas death to engineer his move out of the club. He left shortly thereafter.

Jotas death was a means to an end for Diaz.
