Seriously Wirtz needs to start delivering he needs to be creating big chances racking up assists and the pass before the assist and goals you don’t pay 100m for a player who looks good connecting meaningless 5 yard passes

It’s time for him to deliver

Watch Hugo's chances on MOTD. Then watch who helped in most of them. Not Wirtz fault if the chances aren't converted.

Hugo and made the most of sone poor delivery for the runs he made

Honestly get Chiesa in the starting line up with Ekitike and Wirtz and it might just click

Salah not really producing in the big moments. The assist was a corner, one fairly easy chance missed from Chiesa pass (he always did this anyway, but scored too often for it to matter) and one horrific pass at the end when we had a three on one. As poor as Wirtz has been for a 100+ million quid player, Salah hasn't exactly burned down the houses for a Ł400,000 per week player who is supposedly too important to drop.

He won the corner with a good strike off a poor pass that should have seen him in to score. So he won the corner and took the corner.

Plenty on here would be raving about it had Wirtz had had the same effect.

Plenty want Wirtz to succeed so of course will pick up on an small crumb.
As far as Minus concerned, I think what I see is that his ratio of scores to misses in big chances is now dramatically worse than previously - I don't pretend to know why. He is certainly still insanely fit. Has he lost pace? Is it the new system or new players playing him in?
For wherever reason this puts his place more at risk for me. If either we or he consider his place no longer certain on a weekly basis, I think we should probably cash in whilst we still can.

Think I read his running stats are up in last season. Could be part of the problem if true

One game down without Mo and on current form we didn't really miss him. It was nice to see Frimpong beat his man on the outside a couple of times. That's something Mo doesn't have the legs for anymore.

Yep we’ve missed that since Diaz went. Cody and Mo always come inside. So predictable

Let’s hope Frimpong can keep fit as we are going to need him

We've not lost a single game when Salah has not been available. I think he'll stay till at least the summer. I think whether he fulfils his contract or not will depend on how he does between his return and the end of the season. If he plays well I can see him staying.
