Back on topic there's a good interview with Bradley where he's clearly in awe of how good Wirtz is. Says he sees it every day in training.

Turns out Wirtz was given extra rest during the week due to that hamstring issue. He was risked against Leeds but it didn't pay off. That explains why he was poor. If he's not right then he'll likely miss the Fulham game.

But do continue slating him anyway. Top glory hunters.

Arguably Wirtz's worst performance of the season. Stood on the ball, tripped and fuddled his way around the pitch for the most part.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to play the short ball and keeping possession, but it has to be done at speed.
Agree with all that Jozza, also doesn't help him IMO out on the left. We need to find a formation that gets him in the 10 role with him on the ball with everything in front of him.

That’s what I assumed was the original plan…. and how I expected him to be utilised. Our own David Silva. Will have to go some to get close to that fella, let’s hope it happens.

He played out left for the German team against Northern Ireland and was poor that night as well.

If he plays in the number 10 role it means he plays in a 3.. hes too lightweight, fine in Germany when most teams are shit.
We had issues with Couthinho position in the team as well. but overall he had more end product. I can't see it personally with Wirzt.

Everything seems to be a dib, dab, poke or flick wit him. I just wish he'd put his boot through the ball sometimes, especially when shooting, rather than playing like it's a game of 5-a-side
