We needed a DM this summer. Needed one the summer before too but won the title so the brains thought - kerching - no need.

This is what Klopp had to work with

No Hugo…. Bollox… Really hoped Slot was playing games. Frimpong down the right it is then - Wirtz out left and Cody through the middle. The real worry is the midfield trio up against Odegaard - Rice - Zubimendi

Worried as fook about Kerkez v Saka but that midfield is where we HAVE to fight and where I worry we get done.

IF they can bring what Jurgen instilled in them - we can put up a fight.

    Team confirmed:

    Alisson

    Bradley Konate Van Dijk Kerkez

    Szoboslai Gravenberch Mac Allister

    Frimpong Wirtz Gakpo

Play a 433 let the full backs get ahead of the mids press and counter press, pick up and shout and point and direct each other to pick up, we have to we can’t keep picking up except for one man free in acres where we have 3 or 4 players

Play with intensity, tempo and variation, mix it up, have runs in behind, be direct, use the long diagonals and switches and back them up with players advancing to win any second ball then work and move it really quickly from there

When we’re advanced in their half of full backs or LCM or RCM covering them should be picking up their LFWD or RFWD if left advanced or pushing right in to them if they track back

Play like we did for 20 minutes v Fulham but for 96 minutes and much better NO tappy crappy Arsenal press really well, they’ll nick it if we try playing like that

    Get the win NO excuses

Not sure the roads will be fun tomorrow, it's a amber warning for snow here, curently raining but it'll turn to snow apparently.

They expect to roll us over. Perfect chance to do what Forrest did to us.

Two top teams going at it. On our day we're every bit as good as them.

Should be a good game. Arsenal are at home and in good form so rightly favourites.
VOTE JOCKY tae fix this fiasco.

So there’s no Ekitike, Isak or Salah.

Jones left out for MacAllister is a mistake on this season’s performances too. Really don’t like MacAllister and Wirtz starting in the same lineup. Both prone to give it away/be caught in possession and have zero recovery skills.

We really benefit from Jones keeping possession when we are away.

On paper you would expect a sound 3-0 beating here.
