I would like to think Alonso wont sell his soul to the devils. I believe Alonso was our first choice when Klopp left. He chose his second love in Madrid. I said at the time when Slot came in, that i thought he was bought in to be Jurgen's fall guy. Spent alot of money on a certain player and there is one coach who knows how to get the best out of him. Alonso's first love is Liverpool Fc. Witz add Coach equals Alonso SURELY ?.

These rumours about Alonso maybe going to Utd. I'll eat my hat if that happens. It just won't.
A bit disturbing that the players wouldn't play for him at Madrid, because he asked them to work their socks off.
But you have to imagine he would be a very high target if and when Slot leaves. In the Barca Madrid game in Saudi last weekend, Madrid were sitting in a low block most of the game, waiting for a chance to hit Vinicius on the break. Is that a kind of compromise system because it's less labour intensive than his preferred style? Leverkusen didn't play like that.

Utd will get it right eventually, much like we did with Klopp. Let's just sit back and enjoy the circus while it lasts.
