    Glasner to leave Palace at end of season

    "A decision has already been taken, months ago. I had a meeting with Steve [Parish] in October, the international break," Glasner said.

    "We had a very long talk, and I told him I will not sign a new contract. We agreed at the time it was the best to keep it between us. It's the best that we could do that and keep it confidential for three months.

    "But now it's important to have clarity, and we had a very busy schedule so that's why we didn't want to talk about it. Steve and I want the best for Crystal Palace."

    dunno feels like we have been proper stitched up ......... They didn't let him come in the summer because Glasner kicked off but it was obviously in the conversation that Glasner was going to be leaving anway!

    According to Glasner the conversation about him leaving happened in October.

    Either way we lost out due to Palace messing up the deal.

    Newcastle bid £60m for Guehi at one point. And Palace rejected our £35m in the summer to appease their manager who threatened to walk if that deal went through.

    Now they have sold Guehi for £20m and the manager is walking anyway. And people think we screwed up!

    They asked for £40 million

    Glasner stating he needed a replacement before Guehi could leave,

    We left it to the last day of the window and only offered £35!!!

    But it’s Palace who messed up. Happy days

    The deal was done Gooner Steve. Palace had agreed. Guehi had agreed and supposedly made a leaving video. Check your facts.
