It is very odd how we've chosen not to go for him. He's the obvious choice to us but not to the people handling transfers.

Having realised Slot Edwards and Hughes have wasted all the money they saved over 9 years shorting Jurgen on a fantasy Slot himself never had a team play, they're just not backing him with any more money and he'll be sacked in the summer at the latest hopefully much sooner so we can make the Champions League

Yeah I read that, can't remember if someone posted it on here but allegedly it was Palace chasing us for updates and there wasn't a massive desire on our part. That's odd they'd still pull the trigger on 35m for someone they weren't entirely sold on.
