Am i alone in thinking that if no incomings this window is a vote of no confidence in slot and hes gone in the summer

I think we might (?) be waiting to see where we are after Marseille before committing to player purchases.

If we find ourselves in a position where we are semi-guaranteed more revenue via participation in the knock-out stage, then Hughes/Edwards/whoever might be more inclined to allocate funds for strengthening.

They might not want to divvy out too much if there's a possibility of Slot not being the Manager next season, especially if we acquire a player t(or players) that aren't to the next Manager's liking.
