Well I'd suggest MacA has clearly had the worst season of our 5 midfielders. The only one of them having a poor season himself.

1) Grav
2) Sobozla
3) Wirtz
4) Jones
5) MacA

I think this is fair (though you could swap any of the top 4). Think all the midfielders have been OK and Szobo has been good. Mac however has been shocking all season.

Though our problems aren't down to him alone. But I think he's been our worst player this season.

The shape of the midfield has just been wrong all season and has caused an overall issue.

Our problems are down to Slot and Wirtz - He bought a player we didn't need while selling our player of last season Diaz

Ripped up the blueprint we won the league with and had played for years and set about trying to make all the existing players and the team revolve around Wirtz

Wirtz is our worst players as if he had never come here we would not be having any of these issues, we'd be carrying on where we left off last season

Look at the rest of the team, especially the lads that've been here a while... individually most have been poor, and no nothing to do with tactics..... INDIVIDUALLY .... we'd have 100% beat burnley if the likes of gakpo and co suddenly wasn't all underperforming......

I don’t believe for one minute 19 ever meant he was our worst player - as in him individually. He means the effect on the whole. I mean it’s so obvious that Wirtz is a top quality technician… that’s why so many of us (hands up I was dancing) were over the moon when we signed him.

I believe his stance is that in order to accommodate Wirtz - to get the best out of him - we have potentially ruined what we had…? It could defo be argued as 1 reason for the slump this season…?

I cannot speak for him but that’s what I have taken as his meaning.

I don't know, but that seems to be part of what 19 sees. But be clear no way he thinks Wirtz is our worst player on an individual basis. I just don't believe anyone could think that.
