Fucked up that post just woke up i'll delete and start again..... but happy about being unbeaten? if it was barca, Real, PSG, arsenal away was good but that's it...... the other teams starting 11 cost as much as wirtz+isak did ffs pretty much.

Imagine if we won the games we really should be winning, we'd be 5-6 pts behind arsenal only instead we can't score 0-0 draws... and if we're lucky we get a goal then..... opposite team has one chance, one goal

IF we have turned a corner and we couldn't just finish v burnley.... then we'll be ok, if not we're in a bit of a pickle because we've had a very easy run of games.... compared to the future, probably the easiest run we've had besides arsenal away.... but unbeaten great.

we had a chance to pull always and we've blown it, now we've got tough games coming up, players injured.... and the gap to 4th is even smaller, fantastic stuff

    Well happy.

I was suggesting that fans should be happy about Frimpoing and Wirtz stepping up when Mo was away.

Our form hasn't been great. No denying that. But it is getting better. And if Mo can rediscover any of his previous form I expect we'll improve again.

If Salah, Wirtz and Ekitike link up we'll be in business.

Interesting thread.. So after setting up the poll he'd hoped would be a prelude to the great mans exit... it's less "Two down. Two wins." and more hoping for his return and link up..?

The poll is completely unbiased. It's a question.

I didn't think Salah and Slot would mend fences and Salah would be gone in January. After Slot's latest comments it looks like their relationship is getting better. If that's the case it would be great to see Salah back and firing. But he needs to play better than he has all season.

I wonder if a top defender, think VvD level, was available this window would we sell Salah to fund the purchase?

You could say the same for Virgil, Macca, Bradley, Konate, Gakpo, Gravenberch, Jones...and others.

All of whom were playing at levels far far above what we've witnessed towards the back end of last season and this. It's been poor for more than a year! Yet the happy clapper wants to deny reality like he denied the boos.

Mo's drop in form - though no more pronounced than his peers - simply highlighted because we were so utterly dependent upon his numbers for goals and assists last season.

IMO this poll on Mo tells us everything about the agenda at play here. You are not supporting the team at all - but rather the custodians. The money.. Everyone and everything is fair game EXCEPT the owners and the people they have decided to run the operation. SO - when top players, virtually all - simultaneously - in unison - fall off a cliff... and the results go south... You want to have a pop at match going fans for being glory hunters, blame individuals who have been warming the bench all season and club legends who are struggling to cope with the new systems in place.

Give it up. there aren't many in here who don't see your game. It's clear and obvious.

You might be reading too much into " When does Mo leave?".

I actually agree with you that plenty of other players are not performing well. It's not just Mo. But he ran to the press saying that people at the club wanted him out. That puts him straight in the firiing line. The only question now is when is he moved on. Surely you can see that.

The best case for us is that he stays and plays well for the rest of the season and helps us secure top 4. But there's still a chance that he's gone downhill too far and never rediscovers his best form. What do you do in that case?

So, you are suggesting that by him exposing the lack of harmony from the new setup
(in your spun narrative "ran to the press" ) - it's fine and natural that he become surplus to requirements.. For giving insight in to what almost certainly IS the reason behind WHY so many players were losing form AT THE SAME TIME.

The only tangible reasoning behind your assumption that "The only question now is when is he moved on" is that you are in total alignment and in support of the very hierarchy that HE Mo Salah accused of throwing him "under the bus. "

You can't have a discussion in good faith. Fine. There's no point trying.

Mo did run to the press. Denying that makes you look like an even bigger fool, which I didn't think was possible.

For the adults in the room, Mo Salah will leave LFC at some future date. This poll asks the question of when that will be.
