Aye it's been like it a few days now. Seems to have these spells every now and then.
I said on the thread you've made earlier about it being a shame the PM function is gone.
We could have started a WhatsApp group for when this forum goes the journey.

I was invited to join one but it was then like JockStrap was running it trying to micromanage everyone and no-one was allowed to say something that was shit was shit 😂 so that didn’t last long
We had some of our best times and best debates when things were shit

The forums broken and stuck in the 1980s same shit, I wouldn't worry about it.

My main annoyance with it (and this has been an issue for me for at least a year) is how the threads pop.
A thread I have recently read or commented on has a dark, bold title. The last thread someone posted in (let's say it's the Robertson one just now) will be at the top and let's say you Nineteen had the last post in it at 8am.
I might read a few pages (titles no longer dark, bold) to know where I am, then I explore for a second and then all of a sudden find that the "last" thread posted in was the transfer window one, yesterday, by let's say Kev - at Midnight - when I KNOW the Robbo one was last posted in and that a couple of people had posted since Kev did in the transfer one.
Explore around a few more minutes and then it'll decide "oh yeah, Nineteen did actually post last and it was actually in that Robbo thread" so everything becomes normal again - until a few minutes later when it isn't.
It's genuinely infuriating!!!!!!
Also (just as WhatsApp/PMs came up) I do miss that feature. Kev's right that it could potentially lead to catty, bitchy content but I had some of the most supportive messages in them about various things. Craoibhe Rua for example had some Graphics Design experience and gave me feedback on my business page and had offered to design my logo etc (he wasn't needed in the end but the offer was so considerate) and we'd talk about mental health - some really great exchanges with Noodle, with Balinkay and others - and indeed I'd get the odd message from Nineteen prompting me to hurry up with the "Your team Against" threads if we were on a winning run, back before I would have got that itchy tick that made me want to time to the final whistle - so it was a feature that I liked. Would probably also filter some of the longer rows between posters who don't get along ("is that argument still going since March?" *placed back on the ignore list for a month in the hope it dissipates*) on here which make relocating specific chats within threads rather tedious to trawl through when people can Cock-measure for 5 pages in a 20-minute span.
But overall there's enough about the place to keep me lingering

Have checked back last few days on about 10 occasions and only got in 2 or 3 times. This morning have tried twice and both worked. No clue what is causing it - but something isn’t right
