Can’t disagree. Superb signing and a wonderful player. Terrifies defences and looks like he will become a monster forward

Deserves his own thread.
What a player this lad is at 23 years old. Pace, power, finishing. He has the lot. Definitely Thierry Henry vibes about him.
He and Wirtz will provide the backbone of our attack for the next 10 years. Bring it on.
VOTE JOCKY tae fix this fiasco.

Needs to do what he does well more consistently good early signs but truthfully, nowhere near a Torres Mane Bobby Suarez Mo level
He also looked better in a front three of three forwards He’d really be fit from Robbo’s vastly superior delivery if only he’d had more game time with Robbo
Keep 433 the rest of the season
Ekitike better playing with 2 other forwards Wirtz linking and trying to release thrn ahead of him looked very encouraging
Needs to be instructed abd helped in his pressing as he’s fucking shit at it no fucking clue where he needs to be and who he needs to press and Gakpo’s no better
The three needs to be bang in the press and lead it from the front
Dah DAH deh HuGo EkItIkE
All comps
13 goals & 4 assists in 1,951 minutes
Goal or assist per 114.76 minutes
Scored in all comps in his 1st season. Only Kenny has done that in LFC history iirc.
Because he played in an era he played every game Ekitike has played in comps we played the kids early rounds and got knocked out under several other managers with the Torres’ Suarezs’ Manes’ etc not playing in the comp that’s why

.Ekitike "matched a club record that has stood for nearly half a century, cementing his start to life on Merseyside as one of the most prolific regarding the variety of competitions...
According to club statisticians, he is just the second player in Liverpool’s illustrious history to score in five different competitions during their debut campaign, joining the pantheon of Anfield greats in the process... Ekitike matches King Kenny's 1978 milestone
The only other player to achieve this specific feat is none other than Sir Kenny Dalglish, a man widely regarded as the greatest player to ever pull on the red shirt. Dalglish managed the accomplishment during his own debut season in 1977-78, following his transfer from Celtic. In that historic campaign, ‘King Kenny’ scored in the Football League, the European Cup, the FA Cup, the League Cup and the European Super Cup.
That'll do Hugo lad, that'll do![]()
The club did well in getting rid of Nunez and buying Ekitike, for not much more fee wise. He doesn't get called offside much and knows how to finish.. something Nunez could do neither of
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Nunez was a very good squad player could play left and right too and knew how to press something Hugo is shit at
We’d be far better off to still have Nunez to start done games but predominantly bring off the bench LFWD or RFWD or at 9
Hugo doesn’t really make an impact when brought on as sub you need players that do, Nunez was such a player effectively win us games v Newcastle City and Bournemouth of the top of my head last season
