Nunez was a very good squad player could play left and right too and knew how to press something Hugo is shit at

We’d be far better off to still have Nunez to start done games but predominantly bring off the bench LFWD or RFWD or at 9

Hugo doesn’t really make an impact when brought on as sub you need players that do, Nunez was such a player effectively win us games v Newcastle City and Bournemouth of the top of my head last season

A lot of the time he has come off bench is because he just come back from injury too, but let's ignore that

Nineteenx needs to be different. so when you say something good or bad about a player. he will naturally have a differing opinion..Its simple to me.. does Ekitike score goals? yes and thats all that matters.

Because he played in an era he played every game Ekitike has played in comps we played the kids early rounds and got knocked out under several other managers with the Torres’ Suarezs’ Manes’ etc not playing in the comp that’s why

Community shield 1 goal in 71 minutes.

FA Cup 1 goal & 1 assist in 30 minutes.

EFL Cup 1 goal in 41 minutes.

CL 2 goals & 1 assist in 550 minutes

PL 8 goals & 2 assists in 1,259 minutes.

It's an incredible achievement.

Not many clubs play in 5 competitions.

So yeah even at LFC with European football & 3 domestics, you still need a charity shield Super Cup or Cwc of old goal.

To do it in any season is a fair achievement.

I meant against actual top flight clubs

I’m not picking faults in Hugo so much as highlighting Nunez had a loot of value and we’d have been a lot better off this season had we had him to bring in at LFWD RFWD or 9

Hugo’s boss but his shit in the press and nowhere near the levels of a Fowler Torres Suarez Manr Mo or Bobby yet but has made a great start

He bit been helped by the style of play or tactics either

If he’d played all season in a front three with Diaz with Wirtz linking and trying to g to release them from a bit deeper and Robbo and Trent putting g balls in ged likely have 29 by now

At what stage against what level of opposition with what quality of team put out

Your stats mean nothing without that Ektike’s great but his Carabao and FACuo goals came playing in a full strength side against lower league opposition
