Of course not, why would they. There's only three injuries in that dept.

Yep not the first time or the last, like i've explained already.

Had to wait before the midfield was basically in wheelchairs before we changed it, we leave everything then have too much to do when they finally act

Cost us under Klopp various times, we could've and should have won more but it's down to their slow reactions..... not being a step ahead but 3 steps behind.. a pitty really.

Good depth has been a joke for a while under FSG, we're not winning the league again without new owners, i'll say it again.

Doesn't sound like Frimpong or Gomez will be out for too long. Gomez may be back for Newcastle. And Konate should be back for Newcastle.

The way i read liverpool have targets but not available untill the summer,so instead of buying lesser players or short term options they wait.

    Gomez for about 5 minutes

I'll start going to church, don't worry, he'll be fit for the rest of the season

I agree with your general point. Gomez and Bradley, as good as they are, cannot be relied upon. They have a history of being out with injuries.

Slot said something interesting in the presser that injuries hurt us more than our competitors. Wonder if he was suggesting that the squad needed strengthening.

    Hope so. I
I hope Frimpong isn't going to be unreliable. Picked up a few couple of injuries already, seemed reliable at Bayer so hopefully just bad luck this season.
Gomez has been a fantastic servant but it's to move on with him and Konate looking like leaving.
We really could have done with bringing one in I think.

Yeah I get that approach in the most part but right now it's not a usual situation. Could have an effect later on in the season. It's always been their strategy but it's fraught with risk.

That's my read of it too.

Had we bought a short-term option in a Summer past, would we have acquired Van Dijk the following January, etc etc

Endo also an option at centre-back.

We'll wait and do everything at the same time when we have no other option and desperate

then we'll be disjointed because player's getting use to each other, system etc etc..... exactly like this season, good init..

I just want some depth, and good players that can be counted on jesus and not always crooked- things need to change, it's been going on for years.

Not to mention the risk which is not making top5

So what is the injury Frimpong has? It looked like hamstring or groin, so wouldn't expect him back very soon in that case.
