Stop insisting all the play go through Wirtz
Be direct and attack quickly taking as few passes possible to go to goal
Have a front three with Wirtz joining
Sort the press and counter press out
Play Virgil & Konate high to their strengths with pressure in the ball

That isn’t an exhaustive list of the complaints the ppl you’re knocking made and it’s working now because Slot changed from his pipe dream plan

It’s very rich to try and skate any of them when it’s starting to work through Slot doing what they were furious he wasn’t

Wasn’t me who suggested selling Wirtz in January tho I have said what I thought from day one and he’s not been good enough.
Today was his best performance by a distance and far more what you would expect for such a heavy investment and to change tactics and build the team around.

Pick up thr ball from corners to put it back in

It’s the not buying players we needed but buying them for a new way of playing that’s boring and doesn’t work that’s got most ppl looking across all social media
Instead of Wirtz we should have signed Semenyo and another wide forward

Instead of Isak we should have signed a top CB and No6 and still had change

You try to revert to an out and out 9 and buy TWO for 200m?

It's not the fact I hate you writing about it 19x, I find your posts interesting and insightful, however it's when you say the same thing 10 times in a row on 3 different threads, maybe not 10 but you get my drift.

I think wirtz is a boss signing but we need a proper new DM- amongst a LW/RW then obviously a CB- but then the problem is who will miss out, Szob? Grav? Maca? jones would be off I'd imagine, I doubt maca will be here in a few years
I think it's obvious what we need for most of us at this point, however let's see what the club thinks.... because we've been here before needing obvious positions and it never got sorted.
