Just support and fight for all our lads who’ve been brilliant for so long used the right way and fight for them to be returned to playing that way it’s all that’s needed

What’s happening here is opportunists running down all over great long serving players and many good players played out of form in a way of playing that’s completely alien to them

Please don’t run our lads down or be writing them off you’re being led a merry dance by a couple of wrong uns

You know I wonder about yere recollection of former years

Like when I joined and said your suggestion for 13/14 Lucas DM was a credible suggestion, and possibly correct, several people had been in arguments with you for so long, they didn't react too well. Jono asked me about being your burner/clone account amongst some other replies.
Jobo was not shy of expressing himself, most notably, defending the away end at OT kicking off because he was there from posters on here. And he would post in detail about Islamic slavery compared with British slavery, Islamic being much worse.
Red4Life not shy of a few harsh words, NWR with more succinct wit. Bandesnatch likewise.

The forum was more active back then, but then there was an awful lot more to moan about back then. And Twitter took some like Deano & Gazza iirc.

For me the forum has always had super threads, footy, off-topic & where the 2 collide.

The forum had a character limits for a post of 10,000 characters iirc when twitter had a very small amount. Which suggests the idea was to have more depth of discussion than tweets.

    Lucas was wildly underrated

I think a big part of it was bent FAPGMOL always giving free kicks against him when he mostly won the ball

Pressed well before teams pressed played quality balls to either wing got the pass before the assist through releasing a player to assist quite often

His main problem was he wasn’t and never would be Alonso and a lot were angry Alonso left and Lucas was his replacement as Hicks & Gillet were robbing the club

He wasn’t nearly as bad as ppl made out Unfirtunatekybwhen he looked great finally coming of age under Kenny he got that ACL injury v Chelsea and loads here were gloating

Wise up. A change in formation doesn't prevent Mo from shooting on target. Or Virgil getting his boot to the ball and clearing it. Those are the things that are costing us points week in week out. It's got nothing to do with some fantasy shape in your head that means nothing most of the time in reality.
VOTE JOCKY tae fix this fiasco.

Haven’t been on here for ages. Couldn’t even remember by user name at first.
    Anyway I joined in 2004.
I think the forum peak was around Kenny’s second coming.
Lots of locals and match goers giving ‘armchairs’ like me a taste of proper LFC culture.
Off forum was great too as lots of threads on popular culture from my Gen X era.

Glad to see you going strong Nineteenx!

Those aren’t the reasons we’ve been dropping points you get individual errors now and then and players miss chances Wirtz has missed a load and did again v Bournemouth

We’ve not been creating nearly enough chances Bournemouth’s XG was 2. something our was .9 something

The press and counter press has been broken by the change of system and style so we’ve been giving up great chances on any attacks we’ve let happen

Our play is too slow and easy to defend against trying to constantly play through the eye if a needle and walk the ball in and that makes us really easy to counter on to

Automation plays a massive part as they played 433 direct for 10 years the simplest most obvious solution and best chance for the team to work better is to put them back playing as they did best

Football’s a simple game made complicated by idiots, like trying to fix something that wasn’t broken in the first place
