We've been terrible to start this game. Slow out of the blocks and seemingly sleepy out there, with Forest being well on top.
That's now become a trademark of this Slot team.

One of the most telling signs has been our carelessness with the ball and inability to get any kind of fluency and consistency, especially in our own back third or playing out of the back. The biggest culprits in this (IMO) have been Jones, Macca and even Virgil at the back has given the ball away cheaply several times or left his teammates struggling with terrible outlet passes.

Forest will be disappointed at not being at least a goal up already if not 2-0 up.

And we're very definitely missing Wirtz influence in the middle and up top (never thought I'd be saying that), compounded by the fact that we also have to make do without Szobo in the midfield as well as he covers in that RB position (is Gomez injured again? I don't like playing our standout midfield player in his incorrect position no matter how well he's done there. It weakens us in the midfield as has been obvious in this game. Slot will never learn).

Quite possibly the worst of the bunch out there, and on this performance by the team writ large, that's saying a lot.


How is it that this many years later, he's still yet to convince anyone with his play that he's worthy of a LFC shirt?
