Been on it alright even without pressure on the ball at times

Villa have a really tough run of games as do Chelsea

Long way to go but our performances dont fill me with confidence,it will rub salt in our wounds to see utd in CL next season and not us.
The hope for me has to be us getting Champion's League football and them simultaneously missing out - every year that this occurs is good for us in the long-term, slowing their ability to potentially ever become a force again.

At the moment I think that if we do qualify for the Champion's, the Mancs will as well.

One thing that would help is if Villa and Chelsea BOTH manage to beat them, which I don't foresee - with us then finding a win at Old Trafford, which I think will prove tough this season.

One of Chelsea or Villa could miss out - Chelsea have the upcoming tough run of fixtures, whilst Villa's final two games (unless the schedule changes) are against us and Man City, so they could end up missing out right at the Death of the season.

Just need to keep handling our own affairs. Beat West Ham, cross fingers someone else drops points, rinse, repeat.

That’s all true and you raise good points - on paper it looks bad that we faced 12 shots first half but I never felt that we were likely to concede. Only 2 shots on Target Forrest had all game.

Thought we really defended well tbh. Defend like that all we need is the midfield and front line to turn up. With that platform we can still make something of this season. Maybe Ibou is playing for a move to Real or a new contract - either way he looked superb on Sunday. Hope and pray that it continues.

Trentesque free kick delivery but left footed by Wharton for palace

He’d be an excellent addition him or Anderson Wharton plays such great through balls so quickly he’d be amazing
