Slot's reluctance to use the likes of Rio a lot more often is one of a number of reasons why I don't think Slot is the man who should be our long term manager.

As I keep telling people, he is no longer capable of that and he's slow, ponderous on the ball and often unaware of what is going on around him. That's not what you want to see in a CM, never mind one that plays for a team who are often both defensively suspect and unable to control and take the sting out of games.

He's an incredible CM just played like a bum for most of this season, seems he's been unsettled by Real.
