    Its ok

I'd go for Gordon at Newcastle (hes a shitbag) but a good player.. for the left side. Hopefully we will get some money in for Salah and that can go for a right side player as well. don't know who that will be though.

Would give us forward players.. Gakpo/Isak/Ekitike/Gordon (someone on the right really hope its olise) and Wirtz.

two more midfielders.. and naturally strong midfielders. so we can play Macca and Dom in their natural positions to me is a number 10 role. and swap them from game to game.. and they can also play 8 in the defensive side of the game.

I;d personally let Curtis Jones go.. Would mean we'd have to get some English players in for the quota.. Gordon and maybe Anderson from Nottingham forest would help in that regard. So i think thats 4/5 players needed and another 300 million spent.. in the summer. So need to make sure we get top 4/5

we do need 2 number 9s., we need 2 players for each position. so we can rest players.. Isak will come good after a full preseason. he was getting a bit better until some turd broke his leg.

We didn’t if we kept Nunez which gave us another LFWD option too, Gakpo can also play 9 too, he’s actually done better from there for us too. So could have not bought Isak and got a LFWD in for Diaz

Slot comes across as lazy to me doesn’t seem to look to develop players

I'd have kept both but if Slot ain't going to use them, there's not much point in keeping them. So haven't moaned about it much.

Elliott did very well per minute last season, and I felt Slot should have used both of them more.

Given Darwins regularly available and can play LWF, think it was a mistake to let him go.

    Ekitike has been great.

    He's a Head coach.

The division of labour is different to when Klopp was manager.. Slot's role far more specific.. but is under more pressure in one way.. His role imust surely be result oriented... Job security more volatile, See Real - Barca etc...I assume you'd prioritise "ready-made" senior players who can deliver immediate results.

The bulk of his time likely spent on tactical implementations on the training pitch..Working on patterns of play.. oppo analysis, rather than scouting the U-16s or bringing the level of a top calss 18 year old up to Premier league standards..

There’s little evidence of this activity taking place 😂

Rumour mill that we are considering bringing Quansah back a year earlier than when the release clause would have kicked in.

In theory we have "dibs" on Quansah at the end of the 26/27 season.

At the time most links said the release clause was £60m, whereas current rumour mill stuff (pinch of salt) indicates £51m.

If £51m is the correct figure and we sold him for....£35 million (???) then you'd be talking about essentially paying £16m for a 2-year loan where he gets a bunch of first-team experience.

If he came back into the fold having accelerated his development and stuck with us for 8-10 years that could actually be seen as reasonable enough value in the wider context, though a LOT remains to be seen.
