We have every chance. I'm not saying it in any sort of "bravado" way or to be a "top Red" etc - it's just the Nature of going for Champion's League qualification.

We are incredibly fortunate, given how poor we have been, that Villa aren't that far away, that Chelsea are behind us (for now) and that 5th spot will probably be enough.

Right now if you pinned me to a wall (giggity) and asked what our chances were as a percentage, I'd say they're about 55%.

Which is much better than 0-10% - so given the situation, I'll (very begrudgingly) take it.

Hopefully we can manage to limp over the line and obviously if performances are still turgid on the regular we can shake hands with Slot at the end of the season, thank him for a League title - and then move on to an alternative if we deem it necessary.
The teams in and around us will definitely drop points, no worries on the side.

Problem is I wouldn't back us to beat an egg.

Are we unbelievably unlucky or are we supporting a piss poor team. That Jones chance taken off his chest by Gakpo sums up this season. Unbelievable.
Try the youngsters on Friday. I would like to win the Cup but it's a looking a long shot whoever plays

We leave ourselves wide upon through the middle so frequently that it's not that surprising.

The lad has no midfielders in front (or anywhere near) of him when he shoots.

    It's a collective

He can go if he takes Salah & Gakpo & Chiesa & Jones Possibly Maca with him and we can get replacements, absoulute garbage and the worst team to watch going.

Hugo can't carry us every fucking game

Maybe see how Jones/Maca do under a new manager, jones being english n all too.

what the fuck is that midfield? there's no system no idea....... like what a fucking mess, doesn't help the attackers are fucking useless most of the time apart from Hugo when he fancy's turning up.

Seems ironic to say in that fixture but we really missed a Diogo,Nunez or Origi off the bench who could always nick us a goal when we didn't deserve it on performance.

I'd hazard a guess they do better.
He's ruined a good team. There's nothing at all to suggest we should stick with him, imagine going I to next season with him as the manager. Fuck me.
I can't remember the football being as bad as this for so long under any Liverpool manager.

An interim manager coming in surely couldn't do much worse than this.

You could see in that game even before the first goal how vulnerable we were to the counter.

Apparently we've set a new record. The team with the most injury time winners scored against us in a season.
