The club gave Salah a two year contract at £20m a year on the back of an amazing first two thirds of a season that greatly helped us win the league.

The two years was a win, win situation. If he continues to be great, fantastic worth the money. If he doesn’t we can sell him for £40-50m to Saudi and we get at least double our money back.

I really don’t see why that is either so difficult to understand Kev or why it should set both you and him off throwing insults around (yet again) and him with three insulting posts.

And it isn’t difficult to understand just as it’s not difficult to understand giving Konate an extra 150k over 5 years is far more cost effective than signing a new less capable player for 60m and paying their wages on top of it
