Isn't it obvious that as miller suggested and as was pretty obvious at the time - this new 2 year and £50,000 a week extra contract extension was to stave off the threat of a free - see you later - to Saudi.?

IF he really is being played because the club are scared of his mouth,,, then I suggest there's many Skeletons in the closet.

He's being played to make any sale worthwhile. So while it is perfectly obvious he should be benched or subbed off when not performing - the club is forcing the Head Coach into putting the bottom line in front results.. At this point i'm not sure it'd make a whole lot of difference. The Saudi clubs will be queuing up to sign him whatever happens betweeen now and July.

Personally, i'd have sold him at the end of Klopp's final season but then it would have been very likely we wouldn't have won the title last season, so what do I know!
