Konaté is a practising Muslim, which may have been a factor.

Come on mate - this is ridiculous.

That was his Premier league starting debut. benching Konate who was utter gash the other night BTW has nowt to do with Rio,

These are the facts and why the Kop and stadium stood to applaud him… Rio was miles better in his first Prem start on that wing than Cody has been all season. Had the others turned up his tormenting of the Spurs defensive right side would have led to goals.

Misjudged and misconstrued- watch Cody for one glaring chance - what’s him again on several occasions and this is a seasoned senior….

Was Rio perfect? - no - did he score? - no.. But you are being hard in the extreme

Both Konate and Gomez shouldn't be anywhere near being a starting CB for us, whilst VVD needs a kick up the backside, that is of course if he is still up to the task and not on the wane as is the case with Salah.

If we're going to keep having issues with players because of issues such as fasting or playing in International tournaments whilst the league season is still ongoing, maybe we should either not buy such players to begin with, or we assemble a large, good to top quality squad who can provide adequate cover when these players are missing. I certainly can't see the latter happening under the stewardship of FSG and Edwards.

Still nothing like what we need it was ridiculous to sell Diaz at all never mind not replace him and try and move away from wide forward play

Mos out of form because of the changes abd he does have a Diaz LFWD arriving him more time and space so we’re missing Mo’s goals and assists and we’re missing Diaz’s

In the 2025/2026 season for Bayern Munich, Luis Díaz has been in excellent form, registering 20 goals and 13 assists across 35 matches in all competitions. In the Bundesliga specifically, he has recorded 14 goals and 11 assists in 24 appearances

Selling him Whrn in the form of his career because Slot thought he could reinvent the wheel

They are all lacking match fitness because Slot again knew better and lowered the intensity of training to stop injuries and tried to lower the intensity of our game not based on proven science based on his ideas

And it’s been a monumental fail

All our players now need a proper pre-season

Totally agree - and he won’t be there for a good year or two at best…. but seriously Diaz wouldn’t have been nearly good enough either at 17.

The club has shown it is like a ruderless ship without Jurgen

What planet are you on? There has been absolutely zero indication that this is the plan.

You'd think if it was, Slot might have tried it once or twice this season...

Non football people making football decisions in Edwards and Hughes

Sanctioning Slot moving away from the successful model m, absolutely fkn clueless both should go with Slot

Get Jurgen back, he puts the right set up in place and chooses his successor and becomes sporting director
