Need to watch Whrn Grav goes forward brilliant as it was tonight that another mid or a full back picks up who he’s left

for the shit season we are having.. at least we have seen some promising stuff from our new signings. Ekitike the stand out. with his running style really reminds me of Torres. Looks to have a neat finish on him as well. Kerkez as improved a lot after his first few months at the club. Still needs to be better at defending at times. Frimpong looks a handful when he overlaps .
I'm undecided on Wirzt.. And Isak as been injured. We have a decent squad. it's just light in back up numbers and quality

Seen some images today, appears to be a deep, deep wound on the thumb - could easily have lost the upper half of that digit.

Poor lad - the amount of nerve endings in fingers and thumbs is insane. I have had all sorts of wild falls throughout the years, many from height, have hit my shins off the edge of brick walls etc etc and nothing - and I mean NOTHING - compared to when my finger was cut deep and broken in two places as I retrieved a food item from deep in my dog's throat as he had choked and passed out. He bit down instinctively as he regained consciousness (can't blame him like) and at first I felt no pain - then after a few minutes I was properly squirming around.

Thats what i call karma, i don't actually wish harm on any player, But he clearly ran into Konate to cheat and he came off worse.

Then we need to show up like we did last night to counter it.

Loved last night but it was our 'perfect storm',champions league night at anfield against poor opposition(alisson only saw the ball when we passed it back to him)
Ive been saying for months to try salah in a front 2,playing narrower in and around the box and with frimpong supplying width, salah was popping up everywhere in the box.

Is it really down to the fact that our foreign players value the champions league as vastly more important than the domestic league?
Think there were a few things that were different last night. We played Szobo central. He's our best player so needs to be central. Frimpong a threat from RB. The players had drive and were up for it. Possibly the biggest thing. Did Slot let them off the leash? If so, this shows that they've been told to pass sideways all season as suspected. Let's be honest, Salah was awful for most of the game, despite assisting and scoring. He made a hash of umpteen attacks. He missed a peno trying to be clever. Even though it was great to see him score, he's got to be gone next season if we want to kick on.
From the moment I picked your book up until I laid it down, I convulsed with laughter. Someday I intend on reading it. Groucho Marx

Salah had a great 2nd half with keeper making 2 great saves and hitting crossbar, playing him narrow in a front 2 with frimpong supplying width allowed him to get in the box more.
