You say JwH hoodwinked Klopp. Poor Klopp the gullible fool...

You're not very good at arguments, as you lack integrity & substance.

Widely regarded Mo was a shitbag for his interview.

    To Justme

This is a quote of mine.

Salah will win pots, I'd say Gakpo has actually had a better season.

Gakpo made it into our strongest 11 over the season.

He outscored Mo from open play per minute last season.

His goals and assists per minute stats compared reasonably well with Mo's last season, once you removed Mos penalties.

Mo was a balloon door shout last year. Big media fanfare meant VVD had no chance of winning pots, on Merit he had a great shout for Pots.

In Klopps last season and Slots first season, Mo Salahs goal or assist per minute stats were essentially the same at LFC all comps.
Goal or assist per 80 minutes in both seasons. He played more minutes under Slot in his debut season than he played in Klopps last season. Thats where the big fanfare came from, the raw/total goals & assists, per minute he was as good as Klopps last season.

Gakpos goals and assists per minute stats were better than Diazs last year as I recall.

So thats a quick rundown on what I said and why. Heres an appropriate thread.

    https://forums.lfconline.co.uk/showthread.php?310978-Squad-and-manager-ratings-this-season/page2

And I'm the only person who dared to question Salahs number last year.

Clear as day our forwards Diaz/Nunez/Gakpo/Jota ran their arses off to make a system work to its utmost.

And that system was to Mos benefit.

That plan & system was busted by Enrique in our CL exit last year.
    A reply.

Heres some analysis, aka reality testing.

For Steveo, my last post of substance on that thread. Page 1.

    Total 303.85 net.
    Gross spend 493.6
    Gross sales 190.25
    Market value shift +181.15

Klopp early years 16/17 to 19/20

    Total 93.35 net.
    Gross spend 456.15
    Gross sales 363.8
    Market value shift +81.6

Klopp at Dortmund 08/09 to 14/15

    Total 63.41 net.
    Gross spend 184.68
    Gross sales 121.27
Market value shift *cant be arsed doing it now

    7 full seasons at Dortmund.

    Over Klopps Dortmund tenure

They ranked 31st in Europe on gross spend, LFC were 5th.
They ranked 31st in Europe on net spend, LFC were 9th.
Now that's obviously inclusive of pre-FSG times going back from 08/09 to 14/15. But this is about Klopp.

Klopp had success at Dortmund. He had his choice of clubs, and he chose LFC. What a time. Polling at that time was 70% for Klopp & 30% for Carlo. N4C didnt believe we could entice Klopp, a doubter, but not in Klopp himself. Just the ability to land him.

Klopp arrived and turned a net profit in his 1st full season. Small. But thats Klopp.

    LFC BR 12/13 to 15/16.

    Total 173.86 net.
    Gross spend 406.63
    Gross sales 232.77
    Market value shift +4.1

In Klopps 1st 4 years he spent about half (53.7%) of what Rodgers did net in the previous 4 seasons.

And look at those market value shifts....

    Br +4.1 & Klopp +81.6

Spent half as much & improved the squad way more.

If you want to see the pure impact of Klopp look at his first 4 years. BOOM

    Alisson
    Trent Matip VVD Robbo
    Hendo Fab Gini
    Salah Firmino Mane

And in those 1st 4 years where that side was put together.
Klopps LFC was 15th for net spending in the PL.

    This isn't a coincidence.

    BR's LFC was 3rd
(a disaster by my analysis by the figures)

Slot's LFC 5th after our 1 big summer.

As said, you must think Klopps been really hoodwinked....

Or simply accept that effect, is Klopp arriving at LFC.

He took a 3rd in net spending LFC, and turned it into a 15th placed net spending LFC in his first 4 years
Could all be had in 1 thread

So each of our scores, the average score and the range between highest score - lowest score are above.

Using the above our pots, a tie....

    #1 Virgil & Mo 9.13
    #2 MacA 8.88
    #3 Grav 8.75
    #4 Gakpo 8.13

    That makes up our top5

Top of the lot Slot 9.25

    Most contentious players/biggest score difference...

    Núñez 4, Jones 2.5, Tsimi, Jota & Chiesa 2, Endo & Gakpo 1.5.
In terms of Gakpo that 1.5 gap was between me 9 & Justme 7.5. And two eights from Red & Bob.

Again, there's a thread for it. Not seen much of an argument in that thread.

Bob & Red scored our front 3 the same.
    Salah 9.
    Gakpo & Diaz 8.

    Of these players.

    Núñez 4, Jones 2.5, Tsimi, Jota & Chiesa 2, Endo & Gakpo 1.5

Nunez, Jones, Jota, Chiesa, Gakpo got their highest score off me.
Justme & me ♥️, gave Tsimi his highest score.
Bob gave Endo his highest score.

Utterly pathetic performance from a club with the highest (or very close to it) wage bill in the league

Out run for the 26th time this season.

Excuse after excuse after excuse. One point from Wolves, Spurs and Brighton.

There are no excuses. It’s not just the results it’s the manner of the performances.

The lack of any sort of teamwork, patterns of play, creativity and the most criminal.. work ethic are on the manager. He doesn’t have the first clue what to do about it.

We are embarrassing ourselves week after week while our owners sit on their hands. This season has been an abject failure by all concerned

Agree mostly. But it's on the players to bring the work ethic and attitude. Those are the basics for players.
