Isn't really our thing to go straight in on young South Americans - we tend to let them "prove themselves" more in the Portuguese League or wherever first - I wonder if that policy will change at any stage?

Looks a good prospect in the 6 at 20. Although 6’s by nature tend to be a touch cautious in possession l, his 91% pass success rate is very tidy, albeit in a lesser league.

Could make it, certainly passes the eye test far better than Andre did when I watched him before joining Wolves.

I didn't particularly like the look of Andre. Trying to get in a few youngsters hoping that maybe one or two make the grade isn't a bad idea.

That seems to be the case but it's hard to understand why we wait until the players price doubles or triples

I don't disagree - if we imagine a sliding scale of risk when chatting about how our club approaches things under FSG, it has been one of my complaints that we don't "roll the Dice" on more of these prospects - but seemingly the extra cost is deemed worth it to them to have "assurances" (or as close as you can have) by seeing players play in a more competitive League to run the data-analytics tooth-comb over them to be "sure" rather than buying and learning we have given a contract out to a dud.

I do think we should risk it a little more often, but it just isn't what we do.

Well this lad looks like an investment not much greater than that spent on Endo

He’s Nigerian - Brazil Scout’s name is deceptive he doesn’t just scout Brazilians 😂
