Weak rumours i know but harry wilson and bowen being floated around, thoughts on a big signing to replace salah, sell gapko and one of them as a back up squad player?
Need to strengthen bench, bring elliot back and maybe one of those will help do that.

Decent appraisal of where last summer played its part - buying good players 'on paper' - rather than the right players... and how the massive effects of the Jota tragedy can not be discounted.

"And it all started with the summer transfer window...
...So number 1: the dilution of the title winning squad and the replacement of - Klopp players - with Slot players.. and by that I don't mean players signed by those managers - I mean in terms of the profile of player associated with the style - the brand of football and the dna of the 2 managers in question....

..With that summer transfer window - gone was the speed attitude - pace and heart of the likes of Lucho - Darwin - off course our beloved Diog 0 - Ben Doak - Elliott - Kostas - Quansah - kelleher....and also as has been seen throughout this season... and this can't be under estimated - the almost complete under utilisation of the likes of Robbo - Endo - Chiesa (yea I know he was signed by Slot but he has the energy profile of a Klopp player) and Rio Ngumoha... all players with heart an desire - and a will to win....

...In came Isak - Ekitike - Frimpong - Kerkez - Wirtz and Gakpo in a full time permanent role on the left rather than an occasional option there and Curtis Jones being given more game time too."

With salah leaving for nothing and konate looking like doing the same we are going to struggle to raise funds.
Fsg are not known for digging deep into transfer kitty and with priority signings of wide attacker, defensive midfielder, central defender we could be looking at £230m+.
Not sure how much we can raise selling gomez & jones, maybe adding gapko but that would be 2 attackers out one in.

They'll "find" the money from somewhere... now the miracle worker isn't in town. Already did last summer.

Wonder what the odds are, on our three stooges leaving in or before the summer?
    Slot, Edwards and Hughes.
Can't see them all going, unfortunately.

Would be gobsmacked if all three were to go.

    Maybe Slot - maybe.

RB Leipzig have put an £87m price tag on Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande, 19 who is a target for Liverpool and Manchester United. (Sky Sports)
