    Other F A Cup Quarters

    04/04/26
    Chelsea whip Port Vale 7-0
    Arsenal currently losing 2-1 against Saints (90 + 5)
There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief

    F/T Southampton 2-1 Arsenal

That’s taken the edge off a little

Looks like City will now go on to win the double.

We;ve seen it before when Man-city win all their remaining league fixtures. and the Arsenal fixture at home. Can anyone honestly see Arsenal winning enough league games?? i think, they'll falter in at least 2 of the remaining fixtures.

Not sure I want to see Man City win yet another League title (they'd be up to 11 if they won) given what they have done to football as a whole, so I'd probably settle for Arsenal winning the League but botching the Champion's League.

Irrespective of what happens in the League, I can't decide what would be funniest in Europe -

    - Seeing Arsenal lose to Sporting, given their "weak" status on paper
    - Seeing Arsenal lose to Barcelona, 20 years after having lost to them in the Champion's League Final, thus poetically signalling no significant European progress in two decades
    - Seeing Arsenal lose to Atletico Madrid in a narrow, physical tie with Atletico Madrid's winner coming courtesy of crowding out Arsenal's goalkeeper at a corner and listening to Arsenal TV types whining about obstruction for weeks
    - Seeing Arsenal get spanked by PSG in the Final after they spend some time taking the piss out of us for losing to Enrique's side

Bonus option that won't happen - seeing Arsenal finish second in the League and then lose to us in the Champion's League Final courtesy of yet another long-range free-kick from Szoboszlai.

I will be supporting City in the league all the way. Sadly - the Arsenal going out means less games for them and more distraction for City.

Personally - I cannot stand the thought of Arteta with a Premier league title. Something about him I find revolting. I never felt like this about Arsenal before him… It’s almost United levels of loathing
