The days of Virg starting basically every single game at centre-back should stop I think. I still want him here, but not every single game at centre-back.

That should have happened this season. It's been said by many already, our transfer window last summer missed the big positions that required investment, cb and dm.

The squad is decent. Adding to it will make us much stronger. But if we go back to the 90s / 00s model of selling important players and replacing them with lesser quality we will be also rans for a while.

My point is that the attiude of these players has to questioned,the way they gave up so easily on saturday is on the players.

Very hard to argue with any of that. It's took a while to realise but he's just not a good fit for our club. He doesn't get it at all and there's only one road for those types.

Fowler, Macca, Redknapp and Rob Jones all played in his final season.

Bringing in Ruddock and Dicks were terrible transfers.

Might have been different had he brought in Roy Keane rather than Nigel Clough.
