The CL has been the silver lining this season, we'll go as strong as we can and hopefully exploit the space we should find on the break. Isak will get 10mins in paris and maybe 30 at home. If etikite has his shooting boots we can stay in the tie. Slot needs to grow a spine though and use rio and frimpong and get the midfield correct.

Lets face it we are not going to win CL and although i hate to say it getting knocked out and getting alonso in,could be what we need.
It would give alonso a few months to see what he has and maybe lift team into the top 4.

I like your thinking. If the midfield area of the pitch is flooded the game might get called off. That's one way of preventing us getting hammered on Wednesday.

I would wager we do far better than last time in Paris - maybe not the result but the play. How we escaped without a massive beating - nobody can say I know Alisson had the game of his life but still - with any kind of shooting boots they are hitting us for 6…
They looked superb after beating us and simply walked the CL… Haven’t been nearly as good this season.
Who knows what happens. We still have some players who IF they can be bothered can turn up and do some damage.

Yes some of our players can do damage. The unfortunate thing is that it's mostly us that they are damaging.

I can only see a similar pattern to Saturday’s game. Solid start until we concede then a unilateral downing of tools.
