Salahs looking overweight shouldn't have been starting yesterday his decline is accelerating by the day
After watching that 4-0 thumping Saturday v.City I had the terrible feeling we've almost arrived back at Shitsville like some of those woeful, mediocre teams of the pre Klopp era....![]()
Hard to say - goes without saying that Champion's League money is imperative and thus qualifying for next season's competition is very big for us.
Without wishing to sound like a bean-counter, you'd think that amortisation, Salah's wages coming off the books, other wages coming off the books in coming seasons (Van Dijk, Alisson) and the doors that can be opened by sales would be enough to give us some flexibility to get some of the work done.
Imbalanced as the squad is, you'd think a managerial change and even one quality player could make a substantial difference. Even a different conditioning coach could be substantial, based on what we have seen this season.
I dunno Sid, we definitely need two wide forwards and 6 in the starting line up to have any chance of significant improvement
