He's been wretched all season. But to be fair to him, nobody is going to be able to cover the ground that's required of the way Slot sets us up.

You watch City, they love to push players forward but always have that anchor. A Rodri, a Fernandiho etc.

People saying we can't play Wirtz in midfield. City used to play with De Bruyne, Silva (s) and Foden, all slight and tricky players but they always have an anchor.

If that's the overall plan irrespective of who is in charge next season, unless Klopp is coming back we can immediately write off seriously competing for trophies next season, and we could yet again struggle to qualify for the following season's CL.

We spent about £250m net while losing Trent and Jota without a fee coming in, so in affect about £125m net. With Salah and Robbo leaving this summer again without a fee, our squad is looking decidedly mid table

If the rumours are true of Joe Gomez and a hamstring. That probably means hes finished with us. he wont be back before the end of the season and whats the point in keeping someone who plays 7/8 games a season?
