Fair play for sticking your neck out like, that's a big call. I must say I don't see it, though I think the 27/28 season could be a good one if we get our transfer business right over the coming windows (Summer '26, Winter '27, Summer '27) to supplement what we have.

I think by the start of the 27/28 we'll have a different Manager and we'll have had more time with a "new look" Liverpool. Jacquet will have had a year, Leoni should hopefully have got playing time (really hope we don't sell him back to Italy....) and players should be a bit more used to Mamardashvili, especially when to pass back to him and when not to.

Kerkez will be more settled, Szoboszlai will probably be part of the "leadership group" as the roles there will be changing and he was here during Klopp time, we might have solved our right-back conundrum by then, hopefully acquired a more athletic, defensive-minded midfielder (or Busquets-esque "six") to bolster the middle and possibly replace Mac Allister, moving Grav further up.

Going to take a little while - and some transfer activity - to sort some of our problems out. I think 26/27 is a bit soon, but fair play, love the optimism.
