I seen Paul Merson saying Arsenal are now title favourites as City only beat Burnley 1-0. How the fuck does that work? City slipped up by winning?Merse is obviously back on the shandy's 😂😂

Whilst I disagree with Merson's assessment, you can see some logic in his thinking - if Man City are going to struggle against the worst side in the League, they might drop points somewhere else, opening a door for Arsenal.

I imagine some of it is "Copium" for him though rather than his real feeling on the matter.

The Arse will win it.... Nothing is more certain.

City got 4 games in 11 days to end their season now. Another fixture pile up they never faced in a title race with us. Been so set up for Arsenal to win it this season its ridiculous.

They won’t allow City to win it. It’s beyond obvious

As the FA Cup was set up for them. All the way to the quarter final without playing a single Premier League team and they still bottled it.

Look at the Champions League draw, if they don’t make the final there, even Arteta will know he’s a fraud

If you had to accept Arsenal winning just one of either prem or Champions League, which would you prefer them to win?
For me I'd rather they won the prem than the CL, which is the highest trophy in club football in the world, and that club has never won it.

Yep - horrible thought but the title is just the lesser of the two evils. They might take both though - which is a horrific prospect

Yes. It would be a sad day to see someone like Arsenal lift old big ears. To me it was a travesty when United won their third. Chelsea had enough chances to win that. Don't want any other English club (especially a non-oil club) approaching Liverpool's record.
