Unfortunately those 'plans' may just be more of the usual crap where we lose more of our previously integral long serving players, don't adequately replace them, fail yet again to address continually problematic areas such as the DM position, overpay for a few unsuitable players, get in some freebies or bargain basement players, and have a haphazard approach to the who's, what's, why's and when's when it comes to player contracts.
Just as the Joker says in The Dark Knight, this line sums up both 'our' approach to transfers and contracts, and Slot's management of our team.
"Do I really look like a guy with a plan?"
I want Slot gone for the constant tactical mistakes he makes and they won't change. hes unable to understand the lack of width in the team, and the facts we press at the wrong team and our wide open when we do,. You can see it a mile off, he'll be gone by Christmas, if he stays, so may as well make a fresh start at the end of the season
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
All these stories about Alonso to Chelsea, and we're sticking with Slot.. FSG must be aware of the massive unpopularity of Slot with the fans, at Anield and worldwide. Maybe they just don't fancy Alonso because he wants so much control. They do like to keep their powder dry and often make moves out of the blue. Maybe waiting until after the world cup for Nagelsmann.
I'm still not sold on Nagelsmann.
Me either
We are stuck with Slot, with a massively depleted squad next season
Cleaning up the Scots since the 13th century
Both Nagelsmann and Alonso know how to get the quality out of Wirtz.
