Carragher was recently shilling for FSG and said that they should keep Slot. Steve Nicol was championing Slot for quite a while, but in recent weeks even he has said that Slot needs to be dispensed with.
You may say that those players liking Salah's post says a lot about them, but rather than saying anything bad about them, it says the exact opposite. Don't forget that a load of those players will still be at the club next season. Liking Salah's post nails their colours to the mast and could seriously negatively affect their relationship with Slot and the club (but not most fans) in general next season.

A lot of them - particularly the new ones who came this year (Frimpong, Ekitike, Kerkez, Giovanni) didn't have a dog in this fight, and had nothing to lose in not commenting either way, and can't even speak to the heavy metal football Mo is talking about as they never played in that system or under Klopp*.
But they liked his post anyway, and that to me speaks well of them.

For me the ones that I'm side-eyeing are the ones who did NOT like the post and who DID play that football and know - just like Mo has laid it out - just how far we've fallen.
I'm talking the Virgils, the Gakpos, the Grav's, the Konate's .....
Now the first three, I might be willing to give them a bit of grace being that they're Dutch like Slot and probably might have felt that liking it was throwing their countryman under the bus, but still....,.,.
(* and by the way, it doesn't mean I'm slamming the likes of Isak, Wirtz or Mamar for not liking it either as the most prominent new players that didn't like it. Like I said, new players who joined this season have no dog in this fight and therefore get no judgment from me for refusing to take a stand one way or another. Which is why I think it speaks really positively for the ones that did anyway.)

Thanks for the clarrification. Some players just lack integrity or the balls to stick their head above the parapet. Any player who cares about what we do and tries to do something about it automatically goes up in my estimation.

Salah right or wrong,i dont think slots reply is a good look and doesnt help him,slot said " i think Mo is a fantastic player and a great guy, but sometimes when you aren’t as good as you were it affects your ego a little bit — which is understandable. Hes not going. just because Craig from Anfield agenda gets whispers from good sources. doesn't mean they are legit or correct..
I think Slot has been guaranteed 3 seasons if he gets the goal of champions league. And its looking likely to be the case.

I'm sceptical too but that guy is going to look like a wally if this turns out not to be true. He's absolutely confident on the video he's put up. Never really watched much of him but a couple of lads I know say he's usually decent for information.
We'll see soon enough.
