Hope your right & slots gone this summer but unfortunately I think he'll be sacked in November when another season is already wasted. As for Craig's autism i have a 7yr old granddaughter with autism & I wont get into that. He tends to use that everytime hes proved wrong

I find it hard to see any other scenario than us being in October/November in about 10th position having lost a load of games and played atrociously. Hope I'm proven wrong. If we can get some decent solid signings over the summer which address the glaring needs in the team/squad then I might be more optimistic.

It's quite obvious that a number of players don't buy into his way of playing. You only have to look at the players that liked Mo's post last week.

Managers don't suddenly change their philosophy on how they want to play.
It's hilarious how much crap he chats in the aftermath of a game and lists all the obvious things but has done absolutely nothing all season to remedy them. Why will that change?

It's been impossible to see what his way of playing even is. I feel sorry for the players to be honest because we all know that team would be playing infinitely better under Klopp. The individuals are not bad and in fact many are very good players. Szob, Grav, Wirtz, Ekitike, Kerkez, Frimpong. I think Klopp would have got a lot more from all of those.

I'm not remotely confident he'll turn it around and if given the option of replacing him I would, but it's amazing what can happen (in either direction!!!) with a couple of transfers in the market.

Sometimes a player comes in with the right talent, energy and temperament that those around them kick into life. The three spots we need to be praying that happens are on the left of the attack, the right of the attack and in the role protecting the back four (or distributing quickly from deep) depending on what type of number six we go for.

Nail one of those and you can get a little bit of momentum sometimes. Equally, if we buy three duds and sell a gem or two to fund it.....oh boy.....

A lot could hinge on the next couple of months. Thankfully, if we do get off to an awful start and have to fire Slot by November, there is still enough talent and enough time (both within the season and within the age profile and quality of some of these lads) to arrest a slide and turn it around, but we need to tread so, so carefully this Summer.

Hope you're right on the optimistic front. We all want to see the team pick up and function again.
Under Rodgers, we played one season which had some of the best football we've seen in my lifetime. Most of that was down to Suarez who rose from being a very good player to being world class. We also had Sturridge who managed to stay fit and was a world class finisher on his day. Add those two to the evergreen Gerrard and an up and coming Sterling and we suddenly got a fantastic combination of attacking football.

If he doesn't change it, we'll know from game 1.

New players aren't going to turn this round if he doesn't change the system.

I mean look at United. Amorim constantly trying to hammer those square pegs into round holes, Carrick rocks up and plays to the player's strengths and away they went.

Now, I'm not announcing Carrick as the second coming, or am I saying that it's as easy as just playing players in their correct positions and playing a fiarly balanced system. United still have a poor squad and that will show, and we'll see how Carrick fares in Europe.

But we still have the core of the side that won the title in 24/25 but Slot has ripped up the playbook and gone off piste, and it simply hasn't/doesn't work. Like Amorim's set up, at no point in in the season was there any sign of it clicking.

If Slot rips it all up and comes up with something that works, and we have the players for it, then hats off to him. He'll have my support. If he doubles down, Christmas is going to be miserable...

What exactly is Slot going to 'rip up', other than the team, which he has achieved.

My biggest concern is we chunder along, getting odd wins/draws, just enough to let him stay most of the season.
