Possibly. By the sounds of it the club have tried to give him something close to what he wanted.

I’d be giving Robbo another year too

Looks like a deal with Spurs is getting done but you never know.
Maybe Salah does a U-turn? Doubtful like.

Get the feeling the hierarchy are happy to have lost Salah’s wages off the bill.

There a few interesting 'frees' floating around this summer.

I'd certainly be looking at Diaci Kamada from Palace and Harry Wilson.

How about Vlahovic? Maybe more of an old fashioned centre forward but he knows where the goal is.
    Would certainly consider Harry Wilson.

It causes a lot of problems with other players, when their contracts need renewing. They have a half a decent season and want 250,000+ a week

Chelsea have decided against making outgoing Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konate, 27, an offer - and the France centre-half's representatives are in talks with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. (Teamtalk)

I hope he does end up at Madrid, he'll fit in with their arrogant players. Konate was offered a decent wage of that i have no doubt..
If the club meant anything at all to him, he would have signed back on, So there's no real loss.

I'll be glad if he goes to Madrid. Anything that makes that circus even more of a clown show is always a good thing in my eyes.

Yeah, it was anything but calculated.

The klopp theory might be speculation, but was clearly not calculated and definitely panic buys. An insane waste of money.

I’m glad we stuck to our guns and not offer him what he wanted. Being good in one game and utter gash in the next. In every game your waiting for his brain fart and cost us a stupid simple goal.
