Rumoured to be Wilmslow, Alderley Edge South Manchester.

And IF not why on earth all the secrecy?

I do think Iraola has done great things at Bournemouth but I do share concerns. We are an elite club and should have an elite manager. Maybe he might end up that but he's not considered as that right now. It all points to the cheaper option again with someone who clearly wants to move up and will accept whatever the situation in the belief he can do do a good job.
That's something that is a big worry but obviously not in any way a shock.
Who do you class as a currently available Elite manager? Enrique isn't going to leave PSG, Ancelotti isn't going to step down from his role with Brazil, at least not until after the World Cup, and as much as we'd like it to happen, FSG and Hedwards are never going to do what would be necessary to get Klopp to come back to us.

Most of the other potential candidates still have questions to answer for reasons such as never having managed in the PL, or never having managed an Elite level club. Klopp was largely hired because he had shown he could be successful on a meagre budget. We are going to have to hope that Iraola does the same with us.

Not sure really. I put on another thread that maybe Inzaghi and Nagalsman could be classed as elite? Emery too but he's got a great bond with Villa and it's fans now.
Just read an interesting post earlier. Enrique struggled and didn't have much success early on in his managerial career at Roma and Celta Vigo.
I didn't even know or remember him managing those sides. Goes on to say Barca had faith in him and his philosophy and then went on to have major success.
The defining moments in our lives are never planned.

Have we checked if Mrs Iraola and kids did move to sunny Bournemouth and will now also follow daddy up to Formby/Woolton?

Did he show the club the respect of moving to Liverpool...? as you would expect of any manager on a salary most could only dream of? I mean what kind of message does that send to the players and the fans..? I get that the owners are absent and using this club as a vehicle to further their aims across the pond BUT the manager of Liverpool FC HAS to put the club First.
1st my kid, then your own kids, now Slot's kids.

His wife struggles massively with fame, and doesnt eat out anymore. She had this problem at Feyeenord and this problem is much worse at LFC.
So he probably wants some privacy around his home for when she visits. Given her struggles with the attention.
