Any discussion about my Gakpo rating or quote last season should go there.

However this thread is for this season, and maybe a more broad comparison with last seasons ratings in general.

Safe to say, I'm expecting lower scores this season. And will revise my scoring range.

5-10 no more.

Now 2-10 for this season:

2 horrific
3 very shit
4 shit enough
5 err, ok.
6 grand
7 good enough
8 very good
9 great
10 excellence

I'll give a 5 for players who've done nothing like in Leonis case.
Thereafter if you stay on 5 and played more you did nothing imo.
Greater or lesser than 5 is earnt.

Now my own take on this season, is that the shit was less to do about summer transfers, or the quality within the squad, but more down to the group, Slot & Players.

A waste of a season, pissed away.

The goodish:
Sobozla gets credit this season & Ekitike.

Was really impressed with Bradley. Feel like he missed loads of the season and could 2nd or 3rd for giving great performances amongst the dross.

Rio a bright spark. Woodman did well.
Felt Grav & Wirtz got harshly criticised.
Robbo fairly dependable as ever.



The shitfest

Salah lowest for his speaking out and a fairly shit season. Outscored by Casemiro in the PL.

MacA speaking in the press also. I cant remember the opponent. But I watched him in the 1st half and he ran tirelessly to never ever be in the right position or any position.
Much better 2nd half and scored. Looks like he's playing for a move.

VVD - couldnt believe this season from him.
Gakpo - less shocking, still a 4.
Slot - felt a bit sorry for him given the various pressers and pressures, but he got his p45 and it was needed given the dressing room.

These 5 above & Grav got 9/10s last year.
