Super goal for Alexander who came on late with Sweden losing 3:0 - one of Norway’s from the same side of the pict was also quality - questionable defending for both goals.

Won’t be finding many Premier league defences being that obliging - but we know what he is capable of. Hopefully Iraola can make it shine

Another BBC Sport article looking at issues surrounding the 2026 World Cup..

Article discusses primarily costs and politics.

Gordon with a good run cuts it back for Rice to strike - ball goes in after a deflection off the Costa Rica defender - Good work from Gordon tbh - tough to defend him

Looking forward to the Tournament as a whole but not feeling it as an exercise in getting behind England

There's nothing about this England team that will get people excited. Ngumoah put in the most exciting performance of anybody who has recently played for England, and he's not even part of the World Cup squad. Kane is really the only undeniably world class player that England have. The likes of Rice and Bellingham are overrated. I think England will do their usual by losing to the first comparable or better team that they face, if not actually lose to the first half decent team that they play.
