“I believe that we will win” and “come on Seattle - fight and win”

Just a few of the pearls the North American has given the sport…

Speaks so well - he will make one hell of a manager some day.

Water breaks kill any momentum, canada on top but this kills it, apparently water breaks are a thing in every game no matter what the weather.

Can't see this world cup being a classic somehow, more like a sell out, not about the football.

So many average teams that wouldn't go a miss in lower championship/league one

If Portugal had the courage to drop Ronaldo and put in a striker who presses and tracks back, they could win it. Look at their squad.

    France or Spain.

Depends if Mbappe can work with dembele without being a selfish prick and not want to be star of the show, have to feel for him a bit after moving from PSG haha. If they can work as a team and together, france is stacked with talent.

Be interesting to see how the heat effects teams and if it gives certain teams a advantage.

    The quaters could be

    France V Germany
    Spain V belgium
    England V brazil
    Portugal v Argentina

France and spain play each other in the Semi's whilst the winners of the other teams obviously play the other.

Whoever wins france v spain wins the world cup for me, france have incredible depth in attack, but can they click and work together? who starts? Olise dembele and mbappe surely ?then you have the likes of Doue Cherki Barcola, I think spain are better in midfield, but that's about it.

I personally think portugal have the best midfield in the world currently, but it's hard to say.

If results go as most of us would predict this is obviously, but we know football is crazy.
